What are trapped emotions?

Trapped emotions are intense or traumatic emotional experiences that were not fully expressed or processed. These emotions can lead to long-term psychological and even physical issues.

Typical Examples:

  • Anger that was never expressed
  • Fear following a shock that was never processed
  • Shame or guilt that is deeply buried

Effects:

  • Chronic stress
  • Recurring emotional reactions (such as excessive fear or anger)
  • Psychosomatic symptoms or physical tension
  • Blockages in emotional or social behaviour

These trapped emotions can be effectively and sustainably released using MET (Meridian Energy Techniques) or the Emotion Code.
